Visitors will have their eyes to the skies during the 12th Annual Astronomy and Space Week! Join us to celebrate and explore lunar eclipses! Create your own “planetary silhouettes” while learning how the relationship and movement of our Earth, Moon, and Sun create this awe-inspiring spectacle. After you’ve created your eclipse model take a journey into space for a new interactive Eclipse show in our Jet Blue Sky Theater Planetarium!

Astronomy and Space Day, Thursday April 17
During Space Week, the Cradle will be holding its award winning Astronomy and Space Day which brings together a number of astronomy clubs and space societies for special programming and events including workshops and lectures. Visitors will be able to observe the sun through special solar telescopes, look at the current night sky in our StarLab, and more!
Activities are free with museum admission. Tickets to the Jet Blue Sky Theater Planetarium may be purchased separately.
