On Tuesday, November 7, from 9:00 am- 3:00 pm, Biotech Day will be held at the Cradle of Aviation Museum. Biotech Day hosted in conjunction with Northwell Health aims to provide Long Island educators with biotechnology content for their students.
On Monday, March 13th, the Cradle of Aviation hosted its 6th annual "Salute to Women in STEM" event. This year the museum honored an extraordinary panel of women including Bonnie Tiburzi Caputo, the first female commercial pilot; Chelsea Engberg, CEO of Aviatrix and aerobatic pilot; and LT Natalie Schibell, MSC, USN. Mediating the event was News 12 Long Island, Anchor Carol Silva.
On Saturday, January 14th, the Cradle of Aviation Museum hosted its first in a series of Drone events with students from the Vaughn College U.A.V. Club.
Hours
Open Tuesday through Sunday, 9:30-5:00 and open on Mondays that fall on holidays and school breaks.
