February Break - Pixels and Pac-Man: Celebrating the Arcade Age Exhibit

Monday-Sunday, February 15-21, 12:00-4:00 pm

Video games surround us every day, from apps to PlayStation to Xbox, for fun and function, but when did it begin? That question is game over! Come join us and learn all about how the era of arcades began, the technology behind the arcade, the characters that became pop culture icons, and Long Island's contribution to the arcade explosion!

Free Activity, 12:00-4:00 pm, FREE with museum admission
Once you’re in game mode, experiment with Pac-Man electricity and play-doh power. After, use the science of electricity to consider how the graphics were created and make your very own pixel self-portrait to take home!

Please Note:
The Arcade Age exhibit including 90 minutes of free play on over 50 classic arcade games requires separate admission.
