The mission of the Cradle of Aviation Museum is twofold: to engage all ages in the exploration of our aerospace heritage by preserving and displaying Long Island’s contribution to air and space travel; and to inspire, motivate, and stimulate our youth to be the next generation of aerospace scientists and engineers. We achieve our mission through our growing exhibit collection and our ever expanding educational programs.

Girls entering grades 6–12
9:00 am – 4:00 pm | $225
Explore the science of flight and space through hands-on activities, including drone coding, aviation projects, and conversations with women in aviation and aerospace. Participants will also visit the Aviation Center at Farmingdale State College and learn from Cradle of Aviation Museum staff throughout the week.
