George Washington's Secret Six: The Spy Ring That Saved the American Revolution
Discussion and book signing with Brian Kilmeade, presented by the Nassau County Historical Society
Brian Kilmeade is co-author of George Washington's Secret Six: The Spy Ring That Saved the American Revolution, as well as co-host of the morning television show, Fox & Friends on Fox News. Four of the "Secret Six" were Long Islanders and the Culper Spy Ring is an important part of Long Island history. (The current television series Turn: Washington's Spies has also increased interest in the topic, though Turn has often taken dramatic license.) Come hear Brian Kilmeade discuss the history of the Spy Ring and its crucial role in America's War for Independence. His book will be available for sale and the talk will be followed by a book signing.
This program is free but reservations are required. Please call 516-572-4066 (Monday-Friday, 10-4) to reserve your seat.
