 ecember 20th at 7:00 pm. Colonel Bobko will be at the museum to speak abou
 t his experience on three Space Shuttle missions.\n\nThis talk is FREE\, b

 en calling!\n\nColonel Bobko was born in New York\, New York. A Seaford re
 sident and graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School\, he went on to comp
 lete a bachelors in science from the Air Force Academy and later a master 
 of science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern Califo
 rnia. He was selected to be a NASA Astronaut in 1969. At the height of lun
 ar space exploration Colonel Bobko trained during a time of immense excite
 ment! Colonel Bobko was first a part of a 56-day ground simulation for Sky
 lab and served as astronaut support crew on a variety of other endeavors. 
 He is a veteran of three spaceflights: STS – 6\, STST-51D and STS-51J spen
 ding more than 380 hours in space.\n\nBobko will reflect on his NASA exper
 iences and spaceflights. “The opportunity to hear from astronauts about th
 eir time in space is invaluable. Enamored by their bravery\, dedication to
  the space program\, and sharing an enthusiasm for the future of NASA you'
 ll be left with a positive outlook for what lies ahead” said Catherine Gon
