lage. Features continuous live entertainment\, Santa\, vendor marketplace\
, children’s activities\, Department 56 village and display\, and more! Al
l trees and gingerbread are for sale. Visit the CP Nassau Toy and gift sh
op for great bargains. Santa will be there and great photo opportunities w
ill be everywhere you look! All proceeds raised benefit the Cerebral Pals
y Association of Nassau County\, Inc. (CP Nassau) and the Cradle of Aviati
on Museum.\n\nHundreds of Designer Trees on Display\nThese trees are all f
or sale and\, in addition\, there will be 2 ½ ft trees in all different th
emes and wreaths and swags for sale with all the proceeds going to CP Nass
au. The sales desk for the large trees will be located right near the giga
ntic 12 foot tree in the main Festival area. Bids will be taken for all t
he trees and the tree will be sold on Sunday to the highest bidder. There
will be some “buy now” possibilities too!\n\nEntertainment\nThere will be
continuous entertainment including many talented dance and choral groups.
Liat Gayr\, a dancer with Leggz Ltd. Dance of Rockville Centre and a stu
dent at Hewlett High School has danced at the Festival of Trees for many y
ears\, comments\, “As a member of the Leggz ensemble\, my participation is
a great experience and it helps the cerebral palsy center. How amazing i
t is for us dancers to get to do what we love and help people with disabil
ities in the process.” Jade Skinner\, a 10 year-old from Hempstead will b
e dancing at this year’s Festival for the first time says\, “ I’m so happy
to raise awareness for CP Nassau! I’m a little nervous when I start on th
e stage but when I am finished\, I feel happy and confident!” Look for lot
s of costumed characters too!\n\nDecorate a Cookie\nLocated in Hangar 2 –
kids will have the great opportunity to decorate a cookie with lots of goo
ey icing and fun toppings! Let’s see how creative you can be!\n\nGingerbr
ead\nCulinary students from the Barry Tech Institute in Westbury are creat
ing original gingerbread creations!\n\nDept. 56\nThis amazing shop will be
filled to the brim with pieces that collectors will love including many h
ard- to-find and retired pieces! Great prices on all! The display is tru
ly beautiful and will be a joy to behold! 100% of the proceeds from the s
hop go directly to programs and services at CP Nassau! Thank you to Schim
