Pumpkin Drop
It’s time to throw a few pumpkins!
Visit the Cradle of Aviation Museum for a pumpkin drop! Drop your pumpkins from the museum’s second-floor balcony and watch them go splat as gravity takes over and the pumpkins become a pile of pulp two floors below. It’s a great way to demonstrate the effects of gravity and a great opportunity to blow off some STEAM. Either way, it’s a lot of fun for the whole family.
This event is FREE with Museum Admission when you can bring your own pumpkin (BYOP), or you can toss one of the museum’s pumpkins ($2 each while supplies last).
After the drop, explore the museum’s eight galleries, which take you on a trip through over 100 years of air and space history, from kites and balloons to man’s first steps on the moon.
Adults are $16.00, Children 2-12 & Seniors $14
