Make a Dreamcatcher - Family Program

Saturday, January 30, 2021
12:00 pm2:00 pm

Winter brings lots of things – hot chocolate, snow, and since it gets dark early, lots of stars are visible in the sky too! Since the night rules the winter, we’re inviting children and their grownups to build their own dreamcatchers. In Native American history, dreamcatchers help keep those bad dreams away.

Our paper plate dreamcatchers will be built using simple directions and decorations pre-packaged for each participant. The cost is $2.00 per kit (plus museum admission).

Please note: while there are no reservations required, the Museum will have limited tables with rotating availability to construct the project due to social distancing requirements. If all the tables are occupied, please circle back after venturing through the Museum, tables will be sanitized after each family.

Make the day complete! Add on the “Current Night Sky” planetarium show at 3 PM to learn more about the stars and their stories!
