Awesome Allie: First Kid Astronaut - March 30 - April 8, 11:00 am (11 am & 2 pm on April 4), separate admission required
Plaza Theatrical Productions presents Awesome Allie: First Kid Astronaut live onstage in the Dome Theater! The Gemini Space Capsule - April 2-8, Craft Activity 12-4 pm, Space Gallery, Free with museum admission
New Exhibit! Explore the inside of our full-size replica of the 1965 Gemini Spacecraft and then young visitors and their families are invited to the museums’ Daily Family Activity Station to create their very own paper model of the Gemini Spacecraft orbiting Earth!

Hands-On Science Zone - April 3-5, Activities 12-4 pm, Free with museum admission
Three great hands-on activities! Stomp Rockets – Design your rocket and then see how far you can launch it. Paper Mountains – Create a paper mountain and see how the water flows to the valleys below. Filtered Light – Explore how filters and light can affect the way you see the world around you.

Astronomy & Space Day - Wednesday, April 4, Activities 12-4 pm, Atrium - Free with museum admission
The Amateur Observer’s Society (AOS) and the Stony Brook Astronomy Club will be here to help us celebrate with solar telescopes, digitarium programs, hands-on demos and a radio telescope. We will also have our Hands-on Science Zone activities as well as Awesome Allie: First Kid Astronaut performances at 11 and 2 (separate admission required for Awesome Allie!).
