For the April Vacation Break… Join the Cradle Family!
Cradle of Aviation Spring Membership Drive
The Cradle of Aviation Museum will be hosting its Spring Membership Drive Monday, April 6th – Friday, April 10th from 9:30 AM – 4PM. All visitors joining as new members during the Membership Drive will receive free giveaways, and each day a raffle will be held for one lucky new member! Our Membership Drive takes place during Astronomy and Space Week, and the museum will be celebrating the achievements of the Hubble Telescope. “The Hubble Telescope is one of the most important astronomical achievements of the last century,” says Kerri Kiker, Cradle of Aviation’s Planetarium Education Coordinator. “The thousands of pictures it has taken over the last 25 years have given us a better understanding of our Solar System and beyond.”
Our Astronomy and Space Week is one of most popular vacation weeks at the museum. Family Activities and Discovery Carts will be stationed in the Atrium from 12PM – 4PM, and any visitors joining the museum during the week can use the benefits of membership that day.
All the activities during the break are free with aviation museum admission. The Cradle of Aviation Museum is home to over 75 air and space craft representing over 100 years of aviation history and Long Island’s only Giant Screen Dome Theater. The museum is located on Museum Row, Charles Lindbergh Boulevard in Garden City/Uniondale area. Directions to the museum are to take the Meadowbrook Parkways to exit M4 West, and then follow signs to Museum Row.
