Robotics in Space Exploration PD

Recommended for teachers of students in grades 5-8.

We are beginning to explore the depths of our universe like never before. With missions planned for humans to touchdown on Mars, robotics has become essential in making it a reality. In this workshop, teachers will receive an introduction into the world of robotics, focusing on the key roles that coding and engineering play. Led by museum educators, teachers will deepen their understanding of the engineering design process, the role of robotics in our world and construct a Snappy XO robot-using laser cut pieces.

PDs are $20 and include 1 CTLE credit per hour
