The mission of the Cradle of Aviation Museum is twofold: to engage all ages in the exploration of our aerospace heritage by preserving and displaying Long Island’s contribution to air and space travel; and to inspire, motivate, and stimulate our youth to be the next generation of aerospace scientists and engineers. We achieve our mission through our growing exhibit collection and our ever expanding educational programs.
Family Science Night: Spooky Science
The Cradle of Aviation Museum's new seasonally-themed Family Science Nights kicks off with Spooky Science on October 25th! There will be hands-on fun for the whole family.
Explore a witch’s cauldron, the colors of fall through chemistry, join us in our Trick or Treat planetarium, and create your own Frankenstein monster. Costumes are encouraged! Don’t have a costume? There will be face painting and mask making!
All activities included with admission. It will be a fun night of science tricks and treats!
