The Gala helps to support the development of new activities and educational programs, and honors the accomplishments of leaders in aerospace and technology. The 10th Annual Gala saluted the 40th anniversary of Apollo 17. We were honored to present the Spirit of Discovery Award to Harrison H. Schmitt, Apollo 17 Astronaut and former U.S. Senator. The Leroy R. Grumman Award for technical achievement to Peter D. Rettaliata, President, Air Industries Group and the Donald E. Axinn Award for Community Service was presented to Todd Richman, Managing Director/Financial Advisor, JPMorgan Securities.
Through your commitment to this event, you assist the Cradle of Aviation in its effort to grow as an exciting cultural landmark on Long Island.
