Apollo Space Suit Cut-Out – Tuesday through Saturday, 12 noon – 4 pm
Learn how the Apollo Space Suit provided air, radio communication and protection from the harsh conditions on the surface of the Moon and take your cut-out home with you.

StarLab – Wednesday and Thursday 12 noon, 1 pm, 2 pm and 3 pm
Navigate the constellations of the winter sky and find out how you can tell a star's age and temperature from it's color.

New Discovery Stations – Tuesday through Friday, 12 noon – 4 pm
(museum admission req.)
Drop in and experience the latest addition to the museum galleries. The Discovery stations contain artifacts and touchable objects that make the museum come to life in a fun, interactive and informative way for visitors.

  • Early Flight Discovery Station
Fly a mechanical bird, a kite and a blimp around the gallery. See how experiments using a wind tunnel and wing-warping inspired early attempts at flight to achieve success

  • Space Exploration Discovery Station
Find out where in space astronauts have been, where they are now and where they hope to go. Try on an Apollo Space Suit replica and imagine you are returning to the Moon to pick up rocks and see what space food looks like.
