Cradle of Aviation Museum to Sell Tickets Online

Visitors to the Cradle of Aviation Museum will now be able to purchase tickets online for admission to films featured in the Leroy R. & Rose W. Grumman IMAX® Dome Theater, and museum combination tickets, using a Visa, Master Card or American Express credit card. Museum patrons can purchase their tickets by logging onto www.cradleofaviation.org.

"We are pleased to be able to offer museum patrons an opportunity to utilize the Internet as a preferred method for purchasing tickets," said Gary Monti, Director of Visitor Services at the Cradle of Aviation. "It is our goal to provide our guests with an easier and more convenient means of purchasing their tickets. Until now, those desiring to purchase tickets in advance would have to make a special trip to the box office."

Patrons who purchase their tickets online will receive a confirmation of their transaction via e-mail and will be able to pick up their tickets at the time of their visit at the Cradle of Aviation box office. A service charge of $1.50 per ticket will be assessed. Online security is being provided by Tickets.com, a major online ticket seller.

The Cradle of Aviation Museum and its IMAX® Dome Experience is open seven days a week, 10 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. "The Magic of Flight" and "Space Station" begin every hour on the hour. The museum is located on Charles Lindbergh Blvd. in Garden City, adjacent to Nassau Community College.
