The IMAX Theatre Experience

The Leroy R. and Rose W. Grumman Dome Theatre with its 70 feet wrap around screen provides you with a breathtaking experience that stimulates your imagination as only IMAX can. We have a wide variety of exciting films to choose from including:

WIRED TO WIN – Surviving the Tour de France. Following the 2003 Tour de France, Wired to Win explores the capabilities of the brain, integrating IMAX® technology, cutting-edge computer and medical imagery, and real-life racing drama to show how the brain responds to stimuli—and adapts for success as we learn, train, and practice.

HURRICANE ON THE BAYOU – Takes viewers on a breathtaking tour of one of the most vibrant places in America, the Louisiana bayou and the city of New Orleans. Tragically, the wetlands are eroding into the sea at the speed of one acre every thirty minutes, leaving the entire region more vulnerable to major hurricanes. An emotional portrayal of this environmental calamity and the staggering effects of one of the most devastating natural disasters in American history, Hurricane Katrina.

DEEP SEA – Deep Sea will offer audiences astonishing up-close encounters with some of the most strange and exotic creatures on the planet, from the bizarre rainbow nudibranch to the giant Pacific octopus. Every animal here is dependent on another for survival, so the cooperation that exists between these ocean dwellers is the key to a flourishing neighborhood.

TOM HANK’S MAGNIFICENT DESOLATION/WALKING ON THE MOON – Only 12 men have ever walked on the moon and your next as Tom Hanks takes you on a voyage you’ll never forget.

BUGS! - A rainforest Adventure – Bugs will magnify the miniscule world of insects and explore the miracle of their success. Extraordinary large-format IMAX images will bring audiences face-to-face with this amazing universe of creatures.

FIGHTER PILOT: OPERATION RED FLAG – Feel your pulse race as you climb into the cockpit during a real life training mission in the Nevada desert. Fighter Pilot will take you to new heights of excitement.
